MY REVIEW

My Rating and General Opinion

3/3.25*

I was partly disappointed with this one, mainly because I didn’t care that much for our main protagonist and too much for the one we weren’t hearing about!! That’s the why of the lower rating comparedd to Half of Me series #1.

The Writing

I really like the writing of Diana, I felt as if I was part of the story or was watching episodes of Grey’s anatomy… hehehe It was so easy to read and follow… This woman really does have something!

The Story

The story took place in the same months as the previous two, but this time from the POV of our orher female presence. Hearing kinda the same story once again did feel a bit tiresome in some parts but that was not the problem, I simply didn’t find Paige’s storyline that interesting or her character even remotely interesting…. she was so much like Ava that I didn’t felt like she brought anything to the table… So the story progressed quite slow and we didn’t really have any surprises until the end of it, I was not expecting that kind of surprise, more a family related one, but still that one was a good turn of events.

The Characters

Well the characters…. Paige you were OK but not that interesting, all of that nonsense about you having to find yourlsef…. (you weren’t really lost to begin with!) not appealing, not interesting enought… It is a shame because the previous two protagonist of this series were really interesting, especially Ava, but I felt a bit dissapointed with Paige’s storyline.

On the Other hand we had Miles aka Milo. He really was the interesting one!! The one with an interesting back story and full of drama and personality! I find him to be a rich character and a mainly pure soul, always being there for everyone… oh I fell for you!! I just needed more of him, there was nearly non of him in this novel, even less of the male voice that in the first two installments I would say! But yes, you were my favorite, my ray of sunshine!!

I especially missed Milo’s family, if the story would have been all about him we could have got to meet Lisa and Molly and maybe get more of a backstory, I see this as a missed opportunity!

I would say, go ahead and read this one to complete the circle, but let time pass between the books… otherwise you’ll grow a bit tired!! (My favorite story will always be the first one with Ava and Sebastian…)
