The sequel to the action-packed Reboot is a can’t-miss thrill ride, perfect for fans of James Patterson, Veronica Roth, and Marie Lu.

After coming back from death as Reboots and being trained by HARC as soldiers, Wren and Callum have finally escaped north, where they hope to find a life of freedom. But when they arrive at the Reboot Reservation, it isn’t what they expected. Under the rule of a bloodthirsty leader, Micah, the Reboots are about to wage an all-out war on the humans. Although Wren’s instincts are telling her to set off into the wilderness on their own and leave the battle far behind, Callum is unwilling to let his human family be murdered. When Micah commits the ultimate betrayal, the choice is made for them. But Micah has also made a fatal mistake . . . he’s underestimated Wren and Callum.

The explosive finale to the Reboot duology is full of riveting action and steamy love scenes as Wren and Callum become rebels against their own kind.

My Rating and General Opinion

Yes!! Just what I was expecting a rollercoaster full of action and emotions!! Count me in with the Rebels!!

The Writing

The addition of the alternating POVs to the writing was a great idea!! I just wish we’ve had the same style in the first part, Reboot.

The Story

The story picked up right from Reboot finished and from the beginning the action, the drama and everything didn’t stop. If I found the first one to be a bit full this one was completely the opposite.
One thing I would change is the kissing, too much kissing, or better said the word “kiss” appeared a bit too much!!haha
I found the first one to be short and a bit slow, but I found this one short mainly because I didn’t want it to end and I would have liked it to be extended.

The Characters

The character’s evolution was fast paced but felt real. All of the problems I had with Reboot were solved in Rebel!!
I finally saw that coldness I was expecting in Wren and saw her clear evolution into the woman she turned out to be.
Callum’s impressive achievements ruled most of the story, because if Reboot was mostly all about Wren I see this one as a Callum driven storyline and I loved it!
We got to meet a lot of new characters and get acquainted properly with the Rebels. And instead of having only one villain we got too! And one, the most crazed thing around here…I hated him!!!
This was such a colorful book with lots of different characters and perspectives!

I would recommend this duology! Even if the first one turns out to be slow, don’t worry pick up the second one because it gets better!!
