Wrap Up: May

Awww this is so sad! I know I had been through a reading slump thanks to some personal issues, but I didn’t remember it being this bad! This has been without a doubt my worst reading month of the year! I started (or continued) with the total of 6 books but after DNFing one it turns out I’ve only read 5 books!!! 😲😵  Yes, they were all great and important reads but still… I am quite surprised! Let’s keep our fingers crossed next month is a better one!! For one I know I have various eArcs pending from Netgalley I must (and really want to) read ASAP! 🙂 🙂

I ordered from preference, 5* to 0* (I doubt I’ll ever give a book a 0 rating).

I have yet to read These Vicious Mask. For some reason when I see the cover it doesn’t seem like something I would go for?! But I heard good things about it and it seems that you liked it too 😀 It’s going to my TBR ^^
PS love trying to see what books are behind on your bookshelves 😛

Hahaha oh my, I enjoyed it so much!! Another kind of guilty pleasure (without the guilty part! 😜) And I know what you mean!!haha I used to do that all the time when looking at shhelfies!! 😂😂😂 That is precisely the fantasy-dystopian-scifi shelf… So there’s a ton!

I will probably give it a try then, don’t know when because historical fiction is what I read less, but since this is supposed to be also fantasy, I will definitely give it a try >.< I am trying to read more historical ones but they never catch my interest :/ But I will eventually get used to it 😛
Wow! How many do you have?! I loooove shelfies!!! 😍😍😍

haha quite a bit, although never enough… Some months ago I surpassed the number 200 if I am not wrong, but there’s still a ton to be aquired! Historical fiction is actually quite new for me too, but I don’t regret it at all! I need to get to Ruta Sepetys work because I’ve heard it’s amazing and if you haven’t read The Book Thief… well I don’t know what you are waiting for!! 🙂 😉

        Holy… That’s so freaking awesome!! 😍
I just bought Salt to the Sea some days ago because I heard it was amazing, but it’s still coming…
Well… I didn’t >.< I am not sure what I'm waiting for either 😛 But I will for sure read it this year! Probably in the end of the summer!! Everyone talks abut it! 😛

And it’s another deserving of the hype!! I actually don’t like reading historical in summertime, but that’s just me, I prefer to pick those in autumn winter… I don’t know why!haha 😉

Great reading month. I hope that you manage to get over your reading slump soon. I got into a reading slump in May too. Luckily, I got out of it with the help from contemporary books. XD
